Sulfuric Anodize

Sulfuric Acid Anodize (Type II Anodize) is the most common form on anodizing currently being used.  Sulfuric anodize is considerably thinner than hard anodize, typically ranging between 70 micro-inches and 1 mili-inch.  The thickness of the sulfuric anodize alters the properties of the substrate by increasing wear and corrosion resistance.  It also provides electrical and thermal insulation.
