Tin Plating
Tin Plating is a very common and useful plating procedure that allows a tin coating of virtually every shape to be applied to the base metal without damage to the surface layer. The primary advantages of tin plating are that tin is corrosion resistant and ductile. Tin also provides a base protection from oxidation that preserves the lifespan of base metals and improves the solderability. Tin is also very environmentally friendly due to it's non-toxic nature.
